Our Mission
South Suburban Community Services (SSCS), provides employment services to low income individuals. By offering a combination of direct services and referrals for community resources, SSCS helps clients address barriers preventing them from becoming economically independent. SSCS specializes in serving individuals who receive food stamps and/or medical and cash assistance from the state of Illinois. Clients are referred to SSCS by the Illinois Department of Human Services and community resources word of mouth.
